The live painting process begins with a pre-wedding consultation where we discuss your vision for the painting. You’ll choose the moment to be captured, such as the ceremony, first dance, or both, and share any special details you’d like included. We’ll also go over logistics like timing and venue setup.
On your wedding day, our artist and helper typically arrive 15 minutes before guests or a couple of hours before the main event to set up and prepare. As the key moments of your wedding unfold, the artist paints live, capturing the atmosphere, details, and emotions in real-time. Guests can enjoy watching the painting come to life throughout the event.
After the main event is captured, the artist continues refining the painting for a couple of hours on-site. Our helper also takes photos during the event, ensuring the artist has references for adding fine details later.
If requested, we can take the painting back to the artist’s studio to add finishing touches. Our packages include up to two finishing touch sessions, with additional ones available for an extra cost.
Once complete, you can choose to pick up the painting from our gallery in Richmond or have it delivered to your home for a delivery fee. We also offer professional framing services through our in-house framing shop, so your painting is ready to display and cherish.
